The SUNYAC's preseason coaches' poll came out and the Golden Eagles were picked to finish 4th in the conference.
Geneseo was pegged to be the champion with 70 points. Plattsburgh came in at a close second with 69 points. Oswego came in at No. 3 with 62 points, followed by Brockport (fourth, 49 points), Fredonia (fifth, 43 points), Buffalo State (sixth, 42 points), SUNY Potsdam (seventh, 28 points), Cortland (eighth, 26 points) and Morrisville (ninth, 14 points).
