ONLINE TICKET SALES

Now you can order Golden Eagle single game tickets from the convenience of your home. The Athletic Department has launched BrockportTickets.com 

The secure site operated through University Tickets Inc. allows fans to log in and purchase tickets for all hockey games. The tickets can be printed out and presented at the main entrance to the event and will be scanned by the ticket attendants to allow admission to the game.

MALLARO NAMED ASSISTANT COACH

 Steve Mallaro

Steve Mallaro has been named the new assistant coach for The College at Brockport Hockey team. The former defenseman for the Oswego Lakers was most recently assistant coach for Manhattanville College.

A member of the 2010 SUNYAC Championship Hockey team at Oswego, Mallaro was and assistant captain for the Lakers during his senior year and a First-Team All-SUNYAC selection in 2010 and a Second-Team pick in 2011. He led the Oswego defensemen in scoring as a junior and again as a senior.

After graduation, Mallaro played in the ECHL with the Elmira Jackals for the start of the 2011 season and finished the year with the Trenton Titans. He started the next season with the Titans but finished the season as a member of the Gwinnett Gladiators helping the team to a first place finish in the Southern Division of the ECHL and a second place finish in the Eastern Conference.

After a brief stint as co-owner and lead instructor for the MR Hockey School, Mallaro moved on to Manhattanville College as an assistant coach as he completed work on a master's degree in Sport Business Management from the school. He helped the Valiants to an ECAC West Conference title in 2012-13 and a semifinal appearance in 2013-14 Tournament.

As the lead assistant coach for defense and special teams, Mallaro coached the ECAC West Co-Defensive Player of the Year and a Third-Team All-American.

Mallaro earned a degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Athletic Coaching from Oswego before earning a master's degree in Sport Business Management from Manhattanville.

GORDON PRITCHARD EARNS A PROMOTION

Gordon Pritchard played at Brockport from the 2004-2005 season through the 2007-2008 season. In his senior year he was the team captain during a season in which he racked up 26 points on the strength of 6 goals and 20 assists.  Gordon has been coaching in his home province of Saskatchewan and here's a news release about his advancement:

Assistant GM Earns a Promotion

The Yorkton Terriers have graduated 5 players from their RBC Cup Championship team on to post secondary education and now their Assistant GM is graduating to the WHL.

The Terriers announced on their facebook page Tuesday afternoon that Gordan Pritchard has begun his new job as the Director of Corporate Affairs with the WHL's Regina Pats.

Pritchard, who played his junior hockey with the MJHL's Neepawa Natives and earned a law degree at SUNY-Brockport has been with the Dogs for three seasons and done everything but laundry for the club.

The SJHL would like to congratulate Gordon on his new job and wish him the best of luck with the Pats.

"Congratulations to Terriers Assistant General Manager Gord Pritchard on being named Director of Corporate Affairs for the Regina Pats in the WHL. Gord began his first day with the Regina Pats today after being with the Terriers the past three seasons. Gord was a big part of the staff in helping the Terriers win back to back SJHL titles, a Western Canada Cup and a Royal Bank Cup in his three years with the dogs. He was involved with game day staff, marketing, coaching, scouting, off ice training with the Terriers. He was a full time lawyer with Rusnak Balacko Kachur Rusnak law firm and did all of the duties with the Terriers as a volunteer. The Terriers will miss Gord but he has earned this opportunity and it is a big dream of his to be in the hockey business full time. We cannot thank Gord enough for everything he has done the past three seasons. All the best with the Regina Pats Gord!!!"
