BROCKPORT VISITS MORRISVILLE TONIGHT

Following a Thanksgiving weekend of non-conference play, the Golden Eagles travel to Morrisville tonight to take on these SUNYAC foes.

The Mustangs are dead last in the conference at 0-6 and they sport a 0-10-1 overall record. Their program has been in disarray since their coach resigned prior to the start of the season. 7 times this year they’ve allowed more than 3 goals. And, in 5 games they’ve scored only once (and put up just 2 goals on 2 other occasions).

Brockport should add to their league standing with this game, but, even so, Morrisville shouldn’t be discounted. They’re hungry for a win and as they showed in last season’s finale that kept Brockport out of the playoffs – they can bring it. These guys love to play spoiler and they play with plenty of pride.

Their #1 player is Mike Dolman, someone who lingered on a deep Neumann bench, but now that he has found a place where he can play, has shined (4 goals, 4 assists in 10 games). USCHO even ran an article about him this week:   http://www.uscho.com/2012/11/29/dolman-gets-back-in-the-saddle/

Another fellow to watch out for is 6’1” junior defenseman James Jarvis who has posted two consecutive 15-point seasons (pretty solid for a DIII blueliner) and is on pace to rival that this year (7 points after 10 games). As a freshman, he was named honorable mention for the All-SUNYAC team.
